its not arrogant to not put up grimsby bands.
im totally behind sammie on that.it really does seem daft linking to bands weve hardly playing with (sony, sos etc) instead we went for the bands we tour with. because theyre our the bands were closest to.
and as far as the france thing goes... its an intertextual reference, its essentially there to look pretty but also is linked to a notion we find romantic.

seems as a lot of what i play music for has had something to do with the GY scene there will be GY band links on my part o' the site.

Sammie - Goxhill
Emm - Scunthorpe
Joe - Waltham
Al - Cleethorpes

The only one in there who's really had owt to do with the GY is Joe. Sammie and and Emm especially have had little to nothing to do with the GY scene.
The GY gigs they have played, very few might I add, had very little people attend, and contributed nothing to their success.

I'm not at all saying that friendship is dead, but you must bear in mind that this band have had little to do with the Grimsby Scene.

Aside from the exremely loyal support of a great deal of people,every time I have seen your band,relatively short thom has been there for one,and has also spoke highly of you on this very board...and thats just one person from immediate memory
